Two Tears Poem by Ethan Polmanter

Two Tears

Ive shed two tears for you this night
One of each eye
An now I cant sleep, nothing is alright
Yet two tears.. Thats all I weep
Its not the fight, its the loss so I sigh
The first tear that escaped, I dreaded but I watched an silently bid it goodbye
Some time passed in my lonely sorrow, lost in my thoughts
Whispering to my self on the sly, caring not for morales ive been taught.
Many long.. Long breaths later my lungs burning an heart aching
One thought in particular, had me shaking
Perhaps we wont recover, perhaps ill get left like scraps for the taking
An with the blink of my heavy eyelids.. The second tear rolls
An tumbles an falls, turns to a puddle then
Ceases to exist at all... Oh yes only two tears I wept for you
But with one tear went my heart
The other my soul
They evaporated an part
but will rejoin
For my sad an lonely eyes..
They both did start
