Two Towers Poem by Stephen Carey

Two Towers

I built a tower.
You cannot build a tower
Without someone wanting to tear it down.

I told them not to.
You cannot build a tower
Where there is already another.

They tore it down.
You cannot demolish a tower
And build it the same as before.

I failed to build it again.
You cannot demolish a tower
Without building something else.

They built a tower.
You cannot build a tower
Without someone wanting to tear it down.
