Two Trailing Eyes
They were two
I saw them
By the right of this isle
I felt them.
They were two
I knew they were staring
I beheld their meddling
Confirming those innocuous earrings
They were two
I could spot them
In their self-pity spy
I could scan them
They were like my shadow
Ever prying, ever starring
They were two
But I know
They will be one, soon
Very soon
I know
They will be one.
