Two Ways Poem by Elnaz Rezaei Ghalechi

Two Ways

If I meet you suddenly

A dark flame

runs under my eyes

As if they had been outlined in ink

Instead of frost.

Long I stand

And look down your road

As far as I

Can to where it bends

In the undergrowth.

Oh, I never select you again

Yet knowing

How way leads on to way
