Dark words spoken from afar,
Whispering of a giant war.
Threats of ruin, short and fast,
Shadows falling on the past.
Pointing fingers, blaming hands,
Tension rising across the lands.
Fears of combat in the street,
Marching boots and drumming feet.
Back at home, a different cry,
As working people question why.
Fairer wealth and better pay,
Voices raised to save the day.
World leaders talk of blood and steel,
While everyday folks try to heal.
Two worlds turning, side by side,
One seeking peace, one full of pride.
