Typhoon Ondoy Poem by Jhane Reyes

Typhoon Ondoy

It’s not an ordinary day but a disastrous history
When typhoon ONDOY dropped pounds of water
That makes the day spooky and horrible for everyone
When muddy water got high and wrecked shelters,
Stole many lives and ruined cities in a wink of eyes
Some suddenly scoffed by filthy water of wounded river
Nothing left but peoples screaming and asking for a help
Begging for something to eat and home to stay
Almost lost their sanity while crying for love one's lost
Hundreds died, tons got hurt and millions damaged and gone
Some suffer from this ordeal, severe shocked and fear…..
