Un-intentional pain


Turn back the clock
To the day you first met
Did it feel like it was meant to be?

When your eyes fist saw
Into each others’ soul
Giving you comfort and concern.

Feeling weak and excited
Too many emotions to focus on just one
But knowing your future is right in front of you.

What happens if that all goes away?
Like a switch from on to off
Are you in shock and disbelief?

Is what they say from the heart?
Or is it their disease speaking out loud?
Will you enter a battle that you are afraid to win?

Peace may come and life may restore
As long as your faith is centered and true
You will be led to all that you seek.
