Unannounced Departure Poem by Abina Shajee

Unannounced Departure

Pink tinted sky,
Darkness blooming and shining,
Expanding expanse.
Eagle-Owl hooting,
Dogs howling and growling,
Chirpy chirping fading.
Gazing through dreams,
To a world of bright schemes,
Broken by a call and a fall.
A face enters through a haze,
To stay for days,
Frozen and petrified,
Never to change.
A thought blooms and sparkles,
Like a new-born's sweet pain,
The Earth still revolves.
