What to do with the elusive sleep
with love haggling what to do
with their shoes on, if even more so.
are the feet and the hands, the sidewalk
already all bumpy from the neuronal world?
What do I do with the new dreg
who, I sense, is approaching, decisive
deciding the incomprehensible, the intractable?
From a very distant yesterday
of this day of chills, it is no longer known
the port of sleep, the cloud in the water, and
more and more they pass me by, properly
boxed, deserters - or wise men?
