Unchartered - Poem by Danette Frenz
Why is it so hard to love?
To let go and be free, just breathe?
I want to love you and talk
And open up my heart.
I’m scared…I’m scared to love
Been hurt too much.
If only you knew how heavy hearted
How unchartered, this heart has been
Falling out of love.
Sinking deeper and deeper.
Reaching the depths of despair,
Nowhere, an abyss of no care.
Where do I go from here?
