Uncivil-Life Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Uncivil-Life

Booed by-
The uncivilized life
I want to get back
Back to the old days
Putting not the left
But, right foot forward
Into the woods so fine
So lovely, so nice.

Singing along stories
From the other shores
Standing-
While on this shore
Painful, long way of life.

Aspiring to live a healthy life
Every effort failing to provide
Smoke-free, poison-free
Ailment-free, tension-free
Abuse-free, corruption-free
Adulteration-free, death-free
All-free as clean as such-
Air, water, and environment
Where, nature is a teacher
Philosopher and guide.

Prefer, thus wild and beast
Getting back into early days
Of the woodland uncivil-life.
