School taught me how to read,
Life taught me how to see.
Common sense is not common,
That is why it is scarce.
Many have certificates,
Few have eyes.
Some talk to be heard,
I listen to hear where they fault.
You can buy degree,
You can rent crowd,
But you cannot buy the eye that sees in dark.
Common sense is not loud,
It whispers,
Only the quiet hear it.
God gave me much,
He gave me enough.
