How many years has it been?
so many since I last saw your face,
a feeling like this should be a sin,
my heart beating at a steady pace,

Memories come and go as sure as the sunrise,
dreams that flow in the moonlight,
stars representing all the lies,
still this feeling makes me want to fight,

it is my heart you thieve,
a love burning indescribably cool,
you give me something to believe,
a steady love that doesn't run on fuel.
