Under His Wings Poem by Charles freshvine WOGHIREN

Under His Wings

Under His Wings

By Charles A Woghiren

She is soft and has feather,
Under which her chicks find shelter and protection
She toil to feed them and would deprive herself of food at times
\She fight to protect them from other varmint
Tenderly watching and keeping them
She cluck to direct,
Leading them where still water glide
Under her wings they safely abide,
A shade by day, defense by night
\Though the night deepens,
And tempests are wild,
Still they can trust her
A shelter whatever ill betide
\How He had long to gather us
As the hen doth her chicks and we would not
Under his wing we will find rest
Sufficient His arm and our defense is sure
