Under The Shadow Of My Own Shadow - Poem by Tulsi Shrestha
UNDER THE SHADE OF MY OWN SHADOW
How wise it is! really I puzzle
Regard him as a shadow of death
And symbol of illusion and doubt
How can be a part of self..........?
dramatic display of illusion itself.
Question for all intellectual dignities
Can you imagine a life without shadow?
Why do you forget shade of the tree
Dream you enjoy beneath its shadow
And pleasure you perceive after relax.
Let me feel proud of my own shadow
As everlasting faithful companionship
When misery and disaster knock my door
He never left me as my relatives did
Hence I sing and dance with ultimate joy
Under the shade of my own shadow.
