Under The Tree Poem by SAD Sacks

Under The Tree

It was under the tree
the preach tree
Where you said
'Run away with me',
Said word as sweet as the fruits
coming from the tree.
Months later
under the tree
you and him made love.
You described it 'as sweet as honey'.

You got married under that tree,
every one was so happy
Except me

So I chopped it down, that damned tree
as it fell
a sharp branch impaled me
The townsfolk found me.
Under that vile peach tree
