Under The Trees Poem by John Bannister Tabb

Under The Trees

('Exultabunt omnia ligna sylvarum.')

As oft in wandering distress,
Today in solemn thankfulness,
Unto your God and mine
I come with winnowings of prayer,
O sinless suppliants, to share
Your mysteries divine.
