Under Your Gentle Arms - Poem by Marcia Gravett

Under your gentle arms you hold me so close
So close that I feel like I am on top of the world
I love the fact that I can fall asleep in your arms
The fact that I am comfortable under your gentle arms

Under your gentle arms is where I want to be
It feels so right - soft and silky hugs
The way you touch me and the way you look at me
There is no place I would rather be than under your gentle arms

Under your gentle arms I feel so free
You take me to unknown places
You void this pain that I feel
It feels so right under your gentle arms

Under your gentle arms I seek to find myself
I climb the walls that divide us
I break the barriers of the past
Where I belong is under your gentle arms
