On this night
I'm sitting on a rock
Wondering where my life will turn to next
My inner soul is bathing in the moonlight
The minutes tick by so fast around the clock

Underneath the stars
I can hear your footsteps
I can feel you near
I can sense you coming around to see me
And that I hope you can bless this year

I wonder what will happen to me
These days and these nights
But as you hold me close
You tell me not to worry
Everything will turn out alright

Underneath the stars
You and I dance together in the moonlight
You give me your words of wisdom
And I'm at a loss for words
At what I'm supposed to say back to you

But you tell me not to worry
To just enjoy life for what it is
And to enjoy this time being underneath the stars with you
