Underneath The Strange Sky Poem by Amer Jag

Underneath The Strange Sky

If the presence of your attention
breaks every confidence of mine,
how can I stay sane and clear
when my feelings jump so high?

Sometimes in the hour of silence
when my spirit swims in thoughts,
i think of how your smile
brings me out of inner fights -
and then all my troubles, end with smile
oh how sane and clear then am, I.

All I need in this life,
is a good portion of wine -
couple of smiles, and sweet love
you and I, underneath the strange sky.
