Undone Poem by Medusa Waves

Undone

Heavy and deep as the clocks do their ticks
Slowly-by, the dreamcatchers tricks-
I fell into a deep-haunted sleep
your heart was the one that i tried to keep
but locks have come undone
and our love-little to none-
is but a hanging thread from a laced dress
and undoing me into distress
That hanging thread has choked us both-
how far we have come to losing the oath
that made us one-that made us love-
unlike the perfect fitting glove-
we are not-no longer one
and death for me-it, has begun
quietlyliving beneath the flesh
unlike the keys-we do not mesh-
quietly lurking in my eyes-
in becoming a known disguise-
my tears come down-reveal the lurker
that had made us both the more ever mirther
