Unevenness Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Unevenness

Hate: at first sight
Frowning face
Delivering annoyance
Disappointment
Revulsion and disgust
Up shooting frustration
In the lanes of love
Power and pretense.
Recollecting
A recollection
Of the times gone by
When used to prevail
The Nature.
Where in our day
As the world stifles
Gasps for breathing
Struggling for
Pure in impurity
With a hope
Turning futile.
A number of poems
And notes by well wishers
About the essence, love,
Nostalgia and hope
Spread all directions
But, man-
Becoming itself a threat
Playing foul unmindful
Causing: in the hearts
An ecological imbalance.
And the master seems
To be back with
Both the ladies and lords
All gentlemen-
Being behind the scene.
