Unfair, Unkind Poem by Gordon Smith

Unfair, Unkind

Sunshine, rainbows are what we seek,
Mud puddles, grey skies, are what we find.
Sometimes life is so bleak
Unfair and so unkind

But through it all as we walk on
Each day along the way
From dusk to the dawning of a new day
We choose the direction, the way

When someone dresses up in coats and warm gear.
They are expecting the weather to be cold and stormy
But if you open the door with no fear
You may be surprised seeing the sunny weather

You usually get what you are expecting
So set your mood to positive as you start your day,
It may be hard but try smiling
Even if it's cloudy the light inside will brighten up your way.
