Unfulfilled Poem by somebody else

Unfulfilled

Why is it even your own body, you degrade,
so that now is your purity, so decayed.
Having a mouth, so full of deceit,
and a mind, that abounds with conceit.
Having a bitterness, that conceals your heart,
and living the truth, will you take no part.
And never striving, to do your best,
and those that try, you only detest.
Your light withen, does nolonger shine,
so uses for you, have begun to decline.
For you were to be ready, if ever needed,
but purposes now, have been impeded.
Things were there, you could have done,
if you remained faithful, and wouldn't run.
But now many tasks, remain unfulfilled
and there's not much time, too rebuild.
Such a shame it is, what you've become,
for what was to be a temple, is now a slum.
