Unintelligent Design Poem by Mary Champion

Unintelligent Design

Have they considered
what it might mean
if most human workers
were swapped for machines?

Whence come the customers
businessmen need?
Machines don't draw wages,
aren't driven by greed.

Machines don't go shopping,
seek leisure pursuits.
Without human beings
it doesn't compute.

Karl Marx was right
in his study of wealth:
Capitalism will end
by destroying itself.

SLAVE APPS

The next time, the slaves
will not fight for their freedom -
machines just obey.
