A few loud voices shout and strain,
To twist the words, to make them plain.
'One peace, ' they sneer, a foolish dream,
As selfish currents start to stream.
'Free land, ' they mock, with tightened fist,
While shadows fall and freedoms twist.
'Fair rules, ' they scoff, with knowing eye,
As some stand tall, while others lie.
The world will watch, the years will fly,
This kind of reign, it cannot die
With happy endings, bright and bold.
A bitter tale will then unfold.
