The map is etched in jagged glass,
The borders harden in the sun.
We fray the tightly woven strands,
And tell the world we're all undone.
The 'U' is bleeding from the page,
A ghost of what we used to be.
We trade the circle for the blade,
And lock the gates to set us free.
The common ground is shifting sand,
The middle road is choked with clay.
We swap the altar for the trench,
And usher in the DSA.
The anthem rots to hollow notes,
The stars are weeping from the blue.
We choose the silence of the rift,
Forgetful of the vow we knew.
