Universe
an all-encompassing light
an all-consuming darkness
one and the same
forever inter-twined
in eternity
the stars shine
an un-compromising light
an un-forgiving darkness
equal to one another
forever divided
in eternity
the stars die
and the verse expands
Quite an interesting, poetic and abstract description of the Universe. But the unknown is that way, so impalpably difficult to describe. However, in this poem you create the feeling of what the Universe is in a most effective and talented way. As paradoxical as the Universe may be: 'Forever inter-twined' 'Forever divided' Quite a poem!
