Unkept Promises Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

Unkept Promises

Rating: 0.5

unkept promises
Like rivers moaning
With desires
Flowing like petals
Blooming along the
Oceans of life

unkept promises
Meandering into nights
Slivering into mornings
In whispers of delight

Your body a stream of unkept promises
Your lips are blooming flowers
Your eyes are lost
Melting like snow
Rushing like fire
Over my aching bones.

unkept promises
In big city streets
Narrowing into parking lots
In cheap grocery stores
Celebrating the moments
I never had with you
