Unknown Poem by Loretta Kennedy

Unknown

Rain pouring on your windowsill,
Your tears dripping in the same pattern.
The blankets your clenching tightly to doesn't comfort you the same way as I once did.
Your mind is everywhere. From here to there, to there to here. But, your mind it always goes back to me. Back to us.
The heart stopping memories we’ve made. Our first kiss in the rain and our last one in your bed.
The press of your lips on mine, the simplest touch of one anther's hands was the reason why we constantly fell in love over and over again.
