'Unleash Me' Poem by Jessica Amburgey

A hidden heart finds refuge from
a world in which it can not survive.

A soul searches the night
for what it can not find.

My heart hides in him.
My soul strives to be free.

In my smile, I silently cry
cry out to him, 'unleash me.'

In my touch I whisper
'betray me.'

In my kiss, I love him.
In my arms, I hate him.

The deepest corner of my soul cry
out what my heart has yet to know,
'unleash me...'
