Unrequited Poem by Eric Williams

Unrequited

I feel you there creeping
Deep within my self conscious
Confusion is your mistress
A yearning for the unknown
As the torment continues
in this amaranthine circle.
Your cost is exorbitant.
&& I tire of this game.
Karma is my only redemption.
For you are eternity && I am but a second in a single season.
