Unrequited Love (Valentines Day Poem) Or Maybe Not Poem by Stephen Pennell

Unrequited Love (Valentines Day Poem) Or Maybe Not

Cupid fired two arrows.
One flew straight and true
The other missed it's target as she dipped to tie her shoe,
She dipped to tie her shoe you say, she dipped to tie her shoe.
The arrow never found her heart because she dipped to tie her shoe!

Cupid fired again you say, to try and hit the spot
But will she dip to tie her shoe today, dip to tie her shoe
Well Cupid and his arrows can go to hell you see!
As loves a two way street you see so Im going to tie my shoe.
