Unshakeable Love (Sonnet #115) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Unshakeable Love (Sonnet #115)

Love is like stars, in darkness it glows
When we walk alone in a dark tunnel
We need a caring soul to hold a torch
We need a tender heart where we can dwell.

It is in such critical moments
That our places in others' hearts are unveiled
Genuine love is exuberant
It cares, helps, a shoulder that never fails.

O love, you lit my life like ten suns in the sky
Pebbles on my path turn into petals
Tenderness' scent I breathe when you're nearby
My aura feels refreshed, my heart cuddled.

This is our love, a gift from the Providence
An unshakeable love— even in absence.
