Unspent Poem by Phil J Hambling

Unspent

Forgotten coins
The currency of stalled ideals
Found by chance once again
At the bottom of of my mind's pockets
Mottled and no longer legal tender
Thier value never realised
I leave them there
To rest in peace
Forever
Unspent
