Unspoken Enigma Poem by Dr Igbinedion Obaretin

Unspoken Enigma

In the cold lips the unspoken truth concealed, yet
Beneath the waters a world of recycled beings, refusing
To unveil the unspoken enigma of souls;
Many worlds in one, a conglomerate of elements
Assembled here and there, antagonizing camps
Striving for one essence of enlisting souls,

And my earth, the field of bitter contention
Amidst innumerable camps of two opposites
- the intercourse of light and darkness,
Of impenetrable realms of beings, exhibiting
Fanatical loyalty to their diverse realms, striving
Still for the crown of glory.

In the womb of the earth, begotten souls
Of the worlds unknown, languishing
Dancing to the drumbeat, rhythmic tones of anguish;
Dead souls living yet in misery of their master still
In many clusters of shacks of some unknown worlds
Where melancholy reigns supreme over the beings,

And the beings of beings in endless rotation
And revolution yet towards a solar apex
Of the unknown time of some denouement, promising
Knowledge without borders of the impenetrable regions,
Rheims of enigmatic structures united in one essence
Before one alone – the divine intelligence.
