Untitled Poem by Marbet Daniel

Untitled

As much as i try
understanding to gain
not a word i understand
not an hint i get it right
am blinded again
and cant think straight.
Love they say is blind
this i cannot justify
yet i really wont deny
sand-witched amid them am lost.

Maybe time will be a better cure
to this blindness holding me host
but when fate demands it way
I've got nothing to do or say
but more and more to pray
but what prayer will a blind mind say?
that which wont go astray?
when the option is either night or day?
day may seem right in my sight
contrary to the will of His Majesty
or night may seem to me a way of light
yet from light this blind love is baring me.

let you therefore, this prayer say with me
that if my love for you is to be, let it be
and if your thinking or my feeling is vanity
let our souls and thoughts regain stability
to understand that which to us is best.
