Untitled Poem by Steven Olugbemi

Many a man claim unfailing love
but faithful man, who can find?
I search all earth and above
yet could i not find

I in all, purge inner self
am i faithful?
No! A rash voice wolf
Yes! You're faithfully faithful

Amidst the rain and sun
remember I of err in past
of immorality at its dawn
to which i dine in fullest

one man sin defiles all
another man good atones
am i an antique on the wall?
When The Lamb washes?

A past comes when invite
the present in war of tomorrow
in which i must abide
therein a joy and sorrow

What must i do to be faithful?
I ask with full intent
'Fear the Lord thy God in full,
keep His commandment
