Thinking of you from time to time
Wondering how things would've been
If you stayed mine
You touched my heart with
Your beautiful poetry
But there was one big question
Were we meant to be?
Confused if your love was true
Because i knew for a fact
I really loved you
I'm not sure why you lied
But you lead me on
Until i cried
Was it the truth you were
Actually saying?
Or was this a chracter you were
Portraying?
This was the past
I should leave it behind
Just like you did
When you couldn't be mine
There are probably better
Guys than you out there
You cheated on me
But I didn't seem to care
Because I hope it was fate that
Brought us together
I absolutely couldn't love any other
