Untitled Poem by Zoe McPeake

Untitled

When your a teen, life is as easy as can be,
But thats just what they see,
Really I'm not so keen.

In truth its quite hard, not knowing where to start,
Pulling your life apart, playing every card.
New people, new challenges, its difficult to embrace,
I know its something that everyone must face, if only it wasn't a race.

To see who can mature the fastest, to watch who can last the longest,
So serious, so young, when you think about it our lives have just begun.
Why not play a little longer, develop friendships, get a little stornger,
The world can wait, we already know it holds everyones fate, through love and hate,
But i guess its just a little too late, to change the death rate...
