Untitled Poem by Nicole Guess

Untitled

I turn the page in my novel.
Blank, that is all it is.
My story isn’t finished
I can’t turn back the pages and change the past.
I only write in pen. No erasers.
Mistakes are scars.
Ink drops are the moments of pure silence.
Every thought is written, nothing is forgot.
Each phase is a chapter that tells its own story.
You try to tell me to see the future.
To the better times to come.
How we aren’t over.
But I can’t see something I haven’t written….
My book is still untitled.
The pages are still blank.
My novel never complete…
