Untitled Apologies Poem by Michael Koelliker

Untitled Apologies

i apologize once more, for my stupidity and haste.
i guess my assumption is an insult of your taste.
i didn’t mean to confuse your emotion.
i thought you felt that same devotion.

i lie here with my bleeding heart in hand
i feel like my worthiness is sinking into sand
i mean how could i think that you cared for me
i am love blind, why is it that i can’t see

my feelings rip through my soul
my mind mocking my heart's hole
my body is yearning for a home
my heart tangled beyond the comb

all will be taken back that has been given
yes all, if thee don’t want it,
if the case be that than let it be forgiven.
