Untitled Iv - Poem by T.. Veronica

I was so lost.
Stumbling through the dark-
Cold, silent and still
Everything turned to ash.

I had fallen
Rain of tears, pouring from my soul,
Washing away the last of my faith
Drowning my hope.

You were here.
I know the depths to which you were pained.
I only wish that I could have saved you,
To know you did not die in vain.
