Untitled (Yet One Mo' Time) - Poem by Brenda Finch

Although it seemed that all was well
some po' folks stumbled and fell
it wasn't easy
it wasn't right
and boy oh boy
did they put up a fight
but to no avail
because their enemy
was too powerful to assail
but in a twinkling
just a smidgen of time
there was a Rescuer
sooo sublime
It was He they found
that was the Source
of power, and love, and grace
and so they breathed
a sigh of relief
cuz they just escaped
a hellish place
by the skin of their teeth
