Untouchable Poem by rains of bloom

Untouchable

What do you see when you hear me
what image do you conquer up
my face remaining unknown
while your eyes are eyes of lust.

my face an unfinished portrait
a painters forgotten art
blazing cheeks of color
dobbed red by the brush
your eyes of emotion
boldly declaring your love.

arms of warmth engulfing
my bitter weight
lowered head approaching
at a tender rate.
lips of ice melting
mousture on skin.

forms entangled
in dim light
the candle burning
close to midnight.

heart held in cold
tender guestures of warmth
unable to heat my soul.

every touch of fire
bodies instantly react
but my heart is cold
as the fingers in my lap.

attraction told through his motions
of unrequited love
but her soul
being cold
feels no emotion.

her soul of ice disguised
through his blindness in love.

cold soul
shards of glass
unable to reach.
remaining untouchable
