Unwanted - Poem by Heather Hill
Do you know how it feels to be alone?
Do you know how it feels not to be wanted?
Do you know how long I've waited to cry?
Do you know how it feels to want to cut and die?
Do you know how it feels to sit all alone in a cold dark room?
Do you know how it feels to have your back stabbed?
Do you know how it feels to fall flat on your face?
Do you know how it feels to lose the people you love so dear?
Do you know that I'm here?
How can people tell me that every thing's ok when my world is dark and carefree.
lonely everyday and night even when I'm around people.
Do you know how it feels to feel that way?
It feels like I'm unwanted
Even unwanted by the people I thought loved me
Does anyone hear me scream at the top of my lungs?
Unwanted even by the things that surround me
Unwanted even by me
