Unwavering Tenderness Poem by Tina Baaklini

Unwavering Tenderness

My tender soulmate,

My heart and I
Weave dreams about us
An everlasting love and trust
A linear path as two dots
Between our loving hearts

But your love so unconditional
Infused my dreams with soulful light
So what seemed once impossible
Is now real under the sunlight

Your love feeds my little heart
With unwavering tenderness
Soft as the touch of green grass
Of a child strolling barefoot
In the early spring of March

As long as my heart beats
Of us I'll dream and try to fulfill
But we may reap and eat fruits here
Or up over the sunbeam
