Unwritten Poem Poem by Hector Kayel

Unwritten Poem

Rating: 5.0

A white scenery unfolds
in front of my half-closed eyes
Black roots grow on the cold ground
Filling the emptiness

Yet much remain unwrapped
Buried in silence

A warm-hearted light
castes shadows of hidden trees
that unseen they never blossom

It’s a promising world
One that shall be filled with life
or stay undiscovered
Filled with stories untold
and songs unheard
Forever lost in the sea of time

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem thinking about the difficulties of an artist's life and the thought that his work may be lost and forgotten after his death.
