Up And Left Poem by Dead Inside

He was the best thing in my life
I never thought I could have him
He was the only one to make me smile
And laugh just a little to hard
He was the only person I truly trusted
He all that to me
I didn't think I could live without him for even a single second
But time changed
We drifted apart
Our thoughts changed
Our hobbies changed
There was nothing left between us
He started to meet me less and less
He stopped taking my calls
He started to ignore me more and more
I didn't know what happened to him
But the problem was really me!
I started crying and cutting
And I went to the movies

Shattered my heart in to a million pieces
Beat me into tears
I couldn't believe it for a moment
But it was reality
I couldn't believe
I left crying
Wishing this would of never happened
Next day
He broke up with me
Shattered again
What could I do
He left me
The first person I really truly loved left
That first person I fully trusted left me
So now what do I do
I have not a clue
For I will never love another like I loved him
