Up Grogan's Creek Poem by Keith Shorrocks Johnson

Up Grogan's Creek

What the f**k ago-go
In the lip-trap embargo
Secular segmented
Variously allocated

I will outline your body
With a terminal array
Of schist louvres
Claws hors d'oeuvres

Come the tessellated moments
Pitching horseshoes and tents

the bunyip in the wadi
camel akimbo humping lonely
Burke and Wills upskirt queer
Drop bear, digeridoo - dig here

Leering the taipan surviving the goanna
A selfie-starting Pianola login or Joanna
No more quarter or stock horse
Neither here or there a matter of course
A tool-scarred coolibah the last resource
